Specialist Chronic Pain Counselling
Living with chronic pain is about so much more than the pain itself.
It can affect every part of your life—your identity, relationships, family life, work, finances and emotional wellbeing. It can leave you grieving the life you once had, questioning who you are now and feeling as though no one truly understands the invisible weight you carry. We know that pain doesn't just affect us; every part of our lives affects our experience of pain too.
For some people, the thought of joining a workshop or focusing on pain management simply feels too much. Before exploring ways to live differently with pain, there is often a need to acknowledge what has been lost, process the emotional impact and have space to simply be heard.
Specialist Chronic Pain Counselling offers exactly that.
Bea provides a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you don't have to pretend you're coping or explain why you're struggling. Here, you can talk openly about the reality of living with chronic pain—the grief, frustration, anger, fear and isolation—with someone who understands both professionally and through lived experience the profound impact persistent pain can have.
Working from a person-centred approach, Bea will walk alongside you as you begin to make sense of your experiences, reconnect with yourself and discover what you need right now. There is no pressure to "fix" anything or move at a pace that doesn't feel right. Therapy is led by you, meeting you exactly where you are.
If, in time, you decide you would like to explore one-to-one chronic pain support or join one of the Nasya's Breath workshops, that option will always be there. But if what you need today is simply a safe place to process, be understood and know that you are not alone, this space is for you.
